I’m consistently torn when deciding on life’s expectations and my true desires – too much partying or too much hibernating, my healthy eating collides with weekends spent indulging in the magical food markets of London, whilst my single status often prompts the question – to tinder or not to tinder? Other self evaluating questions include my social life aspirations – to join the local climbing club or to resume my rightful throne at the local cocktail bar, a yoga session or a session on the dance floor? Why does life have to be so complicated?
I’ve decided not to have a quarter-life crisis deducing that a little of all of these things will do me good, I’m not committing to five yoga sessions a week and nor will every Wednesday be determined by the latest TV series, equally I think taking time to indulge in a book and take a look around London’s greener parts is time well spent but doesn’t replace the joy of a cold G&T whilst spinning around on a dance floor. Everything in moderation, we do not need to be the epitome of everything we enjoy.
I’m Cat.. Living in London, loving it, overwhelmed by all the possibilities and trying to figure it out as I go. A few of my favourite things are on here. I do it for the love of it.
Enjoy everything… Regret none of it!
